County Council-Clerk Welcome to the website of the Hawaii County Council and Clerks Office. The Hawaii County Council is the legislative policy-making branch of the County of Hawaii. The Clerks Office provides staff support for the Council, as well as houses the county elections office, reprographics division, and legislative auditors office. The following is the mission of the Office:
Council and Committee meetings are held twice a month either at the Council Chambers in the Ben Franklin Building (Hilo) or at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa (Kona) meeting rooms. All regularly scheduled meetings are video-conferenced, thereby allowing members of the public to attend at the Council Chambers in Hilo, the Kona Council Office, or the Waimea Council Office. We invite you to attend meetings and participate in the formulation of legislation and public policy for the County of Hawaii. |
