| If you're concerned about
serving the community during your retirement years, we're sure our
RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteers Program) staff can be of
assistance. To be a volunteer, one must be 55 years or older and
possess a genuine desire to serve. Volunteers perform without pay, but
in some cases are provided meals or mileage reimbursements. Pre-schools, hospitals, nutrition sites and public/private nonprofit agencies are centers where senior volunteers can be assigned special roles. RSVP's underlying theme is, "You've learned a lot in your 55 years, how about sharing it with someone?" |
